Disturbed by match experience
I encountered a sociopathic serial rapist, and was violently raped twice following a 5-year on-and-off relationship with a man I met on Match.com. The scariest part is that I don't know how many times he has raped; he was as old as 40 when he assaulted me.
I cannot believe that he would break this pattern; he hasn't been caught yet. The more he continues to rape vulnerable, manipulated women, the more he will persist.
He is a danger to society, particularly women, and deserves immediate imprisonment. This site and the rapist have shattered my life and destroyed my trust in people, particularly men.

My script was deactivated on 20 September. That’s when I received the email.
I joined our time and after money was taken out for I dont know $80 and some I decided I wasnt ready to date anybody so I had quit after 23 days and I had called no not 23 days two or three days and I called and deactivated my account. I received an email on 20 September that my account was deactivated and I just wanna make sure I dont want you taking money out every three months.

Resolved: I was overcharged.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund.
I communicated with email.the first response was computer generated later someone communicated and apologized said has made a total refund the annual subscription that was charged after months of my account closure and it will appear 3 to 5 days.Also said I can go on match and Access the profile though I can respond to messages before subscribing again.Now Iam waiting to see my refund after those days.Thanks Pissed Consumer services

- its a more a less decent site (chances of meeting a lady for real are very high there), anyway much better than this one. Save your money and mental health and avoid Match, unless you want to exchange letters with bots and pay for this deceit.
There is no lady pursuing a real relationship on this site. All messages you get before you purchase a subscription are generic, you wont hear from these women anymore once youve paid

Fraudulent charges
Signed up for a promotion they offered. They charged my card then tell me I'm no eligible for the promo, then they charge my card, not once bit twice. Their customer service is no help even to refund my card.
User's recommendation: Don't give your credit to Match.com. they'll keep charging whether you can use the site or not. They'll send endless emails that don't fix the problem.

I have a hard time calling customer service. There should be a human being in your office to answer simple question, not a answering nachine

I can not sign in to my account since December 2023 MATCH can not verify my telephone number
I can't sign in to my account. My telephone number is not recognized by the system.
The problem began in December 2023. I purchased a renewal subscription that never came through. After paying, I was never able to sign in. The system would not recognize my telephone number.
I am talking about a situation starting in December 2023. I paid for a renewal and ever since then, I was not able to use the service I paid for. Many emails have been exchanged back and forth. No solution has been found since December.
A few days ago, I paid again for a three-month subscription. I was able to set a profile, etc. When I tried to sign back in to my account, Match would not let me in again. I paid to subscribe but cannot sign in.
Match will not verify my phone number. They did accept my money, of course, but I have a problem with giving away money to these pirates. They will not verify my phone number.
Email customer service representatives are unable or lack the mental capacity to think outside the script given to them. They seem to be worn out and tired of working for Match.

Great concept but awful implementation
After loosing a few months on Match I went on and found
AFFling.com
- it's really awesome, especially after all that crap on Match! They have plenty of gorgeous-looking women, many of them are willing to communicate, they are sociable and responsive.
I highly recommend it! Match is just not worth all the time and efforts it requires! Too many fake profiles that have zero activity level on the site.
I guess they are used as bait-and-switch. Too many arrogant and rude women who hate all men.

They charged me for my subscription after I created my profile. But won't verify my phone number or email. I've contacted them several times. Getting the runaround. Terrible customer service.
They charged my card after creating my account but then took it down, saying they couldn't verify my email or phone number. I've answered all their questions to verify my account; they keep sending me the same email asking me to answer at least five questions. They won't verify even after I've given them the correct answers, nor will they offer a refund.

YOUR HOLDING MY MONEY!
Someone accepted my match didn't know what the *** they were doing even MESSAGED me I don't know what to do next then said they sent it then MESSAGED again saying there was an error. It's all in the chat and matchpay had no one to reach out to emailed 3x no response and they are holding my money!!!

Extremely deisatisfied
Match will now give me a refund. I never wanted a renewal and contacted match the day the payment crane out of my account to get a refund and I cancelled and deleted my account.
They said they can't refund me because the payment was made through Google, not them. I contacted Google and they days the was not made through them and sent me an inquiry backing google up.
I sent a screenshot of the statement from Google to match and have not received a reply back. They are crooks and liars as far as I am concerned.

To warn everyone looking at this site for dating.
I paid for the Platinum level of membership. I did everything I was prompted to do and started expressing my interest in other members. After a week of absolutely zero replies, I just figured I had not caught the eye of anyone. Okay, no big deal. Another week goes by, the same thing. I start getting 'notices' and contact them. No reply. Another week, same thing. Finally, I started getting suspicious as it's easy nowadays to set up a website and drain money from people.
I contacted a few people that Match claimed had looked at my profile. I asked them if they did. They all said no! So that told me that Match was just falsely creating interest to keep me hanging on and paying more money. I went to my account to cancel my membership. Kept getting a message saying 'Oops! Something went wrong. Check your connection.' I had absolutely nothing wrong with my connection as everything was running correctly and everything was fast. No problems whatsoever. I tried several times after that, same message. I looked for customer support on the site. It doesn't exist.
I googled customer support and found a phone number. Called. Automated message telling me to go back to the website. I go back and use the chat feature. Same run around and never got me in touch with a human being.
I went back to Google and finally found an email address. I sent the email telling them to delete my account and not to charge my bank again! I was very frustrated at that point.
I received an email stating that my membership was deleted.
If I get charged for next month, I'll be suing them.
In closing, Match.com is one huge scam and is nothing but a big waste of time, money and effort. Match.com is a total scam.
