Match.com Paid Reply-for-Free Service is a Non-Working Scam
I pay $10/mo to be able to contact people who are not paying members, which is roughly 90% of the people on Match. (Take their actual revenues and compare it to their claimed number of members to see this is so). This way they can reply for free.
I have had two people, both with MAs, tell me it was very hard for them to reply to my email due to the ads they had to endure and wade through on the Match website. One was already a friend and gave up and just called. The other talked to me about their experience, and said it was tedious and took a long time.
I just spent 40 min on the phone with Match Cust Svc, and got no where. Not even an acknowledgement, and certainly no commitment to look into it. While reply-for-free is a good service idea, Match's tendency to money grub has goofed it up.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.

I just about signed up today and they could give me a price for the reply service just kept asking for my credit card number saying I had to be a member first..... such a rip off have really a distaste for these scamming dating apps. PS I didn't sign up
The reply for free is a scam. I recieved a reply for free request.
And after composing an email,I tapped the send icon.
I was the emmediatly sent to a page that said I had to sign up in order to send the email. Rediculous!
